What Else Is There to Do in Kustavi?

Kustavi may be small, but there’s plenty here to fall for. Here are a few spots worth adding to your summer plans.

  • The Caves of Jeremias are Kustavi’s best-known natural attraction and a big reason many visitors return. These striking rock formations are located close to the village centre and make for a perfect day trip from the harbour.

  • Friisilä Farm is a small working farm with chickens and rabbits, fresh baked treats and the Tarumetsä trail, where you might just meet fairies and trolls along the way. A lovely stop for families with children.

  • Kustavin Savipaja is a delight. At this family-run ceramics studio, every piece is handmade, and the factory shop is hard to leave empty-handed. In summer, there’s also an outdoor market in the yard.

  • Kustavi Church dates back to 1783, and the sea is present even inside: votive ships hang from the ceiling, donated by generations of seafarers in gratitude. A beautiful place to pause on a summer’s day.

  • Katanpää offers a glimpse into maritime military history in the middle of the sheltered archipelago. Boat trips are organised to the island, making it one of Kustavi’s most compelling destinations.

  • Isokari stands in the outer archipelago within the Bothnian Sea National Park. You can reach it by boat, and the journey itself is an experience thanks to the open sea views.

Enjoy Activities at Your Own Pace and Stay Beneath Reed Roofs

One day at Peterzéns is rarely enough. Once you’ve played padel, made your way around the frisbee golf course and watched the kids discover the joy of the trampoline, it’s a pleasure to realise there’s no need to rush home. In the archipelago, time moves at its own pace – just as it should.

At the harbour, you’ll find 14 reed-thatched boathouses, as well as lodges tucked among the pines and a family cabin beside the play field. Each unit has its own terrace, and in the mornings, an archipelago breakfast awaits in the restaurant. Evenings end in the sauna, heated daily.

Your stay includes breakfast, towels, bed linen and sauna access. One of our units is pet-friendly.
