Looking for a place where the food, the view and the atmosphere all come together? Peterzéns restaurant sits right at the water's edge in Kustavi, in the heart of the Finnish archipelago. People come here to eat well and stay a little longer than planned.

Peterzéns is one of Kustavi's best-known summer restaurants. You can arrive by boat or by road along the Archipelago Trail. The restaurant is open to everyone, whether you're staying with us or just passing through.

Food and Drinks in the Archipelago

Our menu is carefully put together to let the flavours of the archipelago speak for themselves. The kitchen is small but the care that goes into each dish isn't.

Summer favourites include our salmon soup and toast skagen on archipelago bread. The menu also has lighter options for warm days, sweet treats to go with your coffee and dishes for the little ones too. Pirate meatballs and happy hotdogs for the little sailors.

The drinks are chosen to match the food and the mood. A cold drink on the terrace, good food and a harbour view. That's the whole idea.

The menu follows the rhythm of the season and changes as summer goes on. We do our best to accommodate dietary requirements. Gluten-free, vegan and lactose-free options available.

The Archipelago Buffet

During the busiest weeks of summer, we lay out our archipelago buffet. A generous spread of island flavours and the best ingredients the season has to offer.

There are classic archipelago favourites alongside changing seasonal dishes, and it's hard to stop at just one plate. No hurry, no rush. That's the point.

For many of our guests, the buffet is a highlight of the summer and a good reason to stop at Peterzéns for a little longer than planned.

Archipelago Breakfast

The day starts slowly here. Our archipelago breakfast is served in the restaurant throughout the season and there's no reason to rush.

This isn't a busy hotel breakfast. It's a moment where the coffee tastes better and the day begins on its own terms. On a good morning, the best seat is outside as the harbour quietly comes to life around you.

Breakfast is always included in the price of accommodation and can also be enjoyed separately.

Price: 14 € per person. Served: 8.00 to 10.30.

Arrive by Boat or Along the Archipelago Trail

The restaurant sits right at the guest harbour, which makes arriving by boat particularly easy. It's just a few steps from the jetty to the table.

For those travelling by car or bike, Peterzéns is a natural stop along the Archipelago Trail. Easy to pull in, and the view rewards you the moment you arrive.

The location by the water makes this one of the most scenic places to eat in Kustavi.

Dogs Welcome

Paws are welcome everywhere at Peterzéns, including the restaurant and the terrace. Come for a meal, a coffee or just to sit and take in the harbour atmosphere. For us it's simply the way things should be.
